The Symbolic Variable

The Symbolic Variable is a custom map for the first-person word puzzle game Lingo 2 -- you must own the base game in order to play it.

This map expands on the ? symbol, which doesn't really have a proper tutorial or well-defined rules in the base game. No longer will it go unloved!

Features

• ~75 challenging puzzles (imo generally much harder than The Symbolic or In Medias Res)
• The 27th letter of the alphabet ?
• A custom hint mechanism (I'll leave to you to discover why)
• Flexible progression: you can reach The End with only ~25 puzzles solved
  
• No puzzle countdown or reward for 100%ing

Installation Guide

1. Download the_symbolic_variable.tscn
2. Click the "Game Data" button in Lingo 2's "Settings" menu
3. Copy the_symbolic_variable.tscn into the maps/ subfolder
4. Use "Level Select" on the Lingo 2 main menu to select "The Symbolic Variable"
